The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has published "OJJDP News @ a Glance," July/August 2007. The bimonthly online newsletter provides readers with news about OJJDP activities, publications, funding opportunities, and events.
This issue's lead article describes the launching of a Los Angeles anti-gang initiative modeled on OJJDP's Gang Reduction Program. The issue also reports on the upcoming September celebration of National Youth Court Month and OJJDP's 2007 Disproportionate Minority Contact conference, which will be held in Denver, CO, from October 25-27.
