The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of “OJJDP News @ a Glance,” September/October 2008. The bimonthly newsletter provides readers with news about OJJDP activities, publications, funding opportunities, and events.
This issue's lead article highlights the OJJDP resource for child abduction survivors, “You're Not Alone: The Journey From Abduction to Empowerment,” prominently featured on a recent nationally syndicated television talk show. The publication is one of many resources available through OJJDP's latest portal Web page, Child Abduction: Resources for Victims and Families.
The issue also reports on the Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Program National Leadership Conference and OJJDP's Girls Study Group bulletins.
