Workshop Features OJJDP's Juvenile Corrections Data Collections

From June 1–3, 2009, in Ann Arbor, MI, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data at the University of Michigan will hold a workshop on Using National Juvenile Corrections Data Files: 1997-2006 as part of the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research's Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research.
This inaugural workshop will make a wealth of national data from OJJDP's data collections available to researchers and practitioners and provide participants with the tools necessary to understand and use the data appropriately.
There is no registration fee for this workshop, and stipend support of up to $1,000 for travel and living expenses is available for a limited number of participants.
The application deadline is April 27, 2009. As the workshop is limited to 25 participants, early application is recommended.
